At Foodtel, we're driving real-world impact for our planet and society. We were founded on the insight that every day, huge amounts of perfectly good food are thrown away - not because they’re not consumable, but for a whole range of other reasons, such as overproduction, inventory issues, strict quality standards, poor packaging, temperature deviations, or short best-before dates. All the wrong reasons, if you ask us.
We’re not fans of waste - not food waste, not wasted time, and not wasted opportunities. That’s why everyone at Foodtel works to make a real difference.
We came into this game to change all of that by challenging the status quo and making sure already - produced food is saved, not wasted.

Foodtel is founded
Founded to address an urgent problem, the platform's first version is developed with RISE, and prospects love the impact.
2023
Full speed ahead!
The well renowned Swedish food logistics Frigoscandia decide to go with Foodtel. A huge milestone for the company!
2024
Continued growth
Novax, Axel Johnson’s investment company, invests in Foodtel as a strong partner with expertise in food & retail.
2025

Our company language is Swedish, so for our office roles you need to be comfortable working in Swedish. For some roles, other languages such as English or German may be required. If a role requires certain language skills, they will be listed in the job ad.

About Foodtel
Foodtel is a SaaS Impact Scale-Up company dedicated to transforming the cold chain to minimize food waste. Founded in 2022 in Helsingborg, Foodtel has expanded its reach across three European countries, registering hundreds of users. Over the past two years, the company has helped prevent more than 450 tonnes of food from being wasted - equivalent to avoiding 3,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions.
Foodtel creates value for everyone involved. Product owners can generate revenue from surplus food, while buyers gain access to high-quality, edible food at a reduced price. Optimized logistics lower claims costs and improve efficiency, reducing both food waste and environmental impact - a win-win-win for businesses, consumers, and the planet.
